You have been amazing!
I am immensely grateful for the extraordinary and enthusiastic response to my “call to action” to the integrative therapy community.
Practitioners all over the country are generously offering their healing modalities to the Nancy’s List community. I am struck by the passion expressed by so many of these healers. They share a profound respect for the work they do to deepen the healing process for cancer patients.
I have been blessed with meeting and talking to so many dedicated healers … yoga and qigong and tai chi teachers, acupuncturists, massage therapists, chiropractors, health and wellness cancer coaches, psychotherapists, cancer fitness programs, nutritionists, mindfulness and meditation teachers, spiritual guides, and more extraordinary generous people.
I want all cancer patients to have the opportunity to experience healing other than their dreadful visits to the infusion rooms, radiation offices, and more. I want to educate patients and healing professionals about the enormous benefits of integrative healing services AND the accessibility of these therapies.
Consider adding your services to my national listing of providers who complement traditional cancer treatments. I am especially interested in adding more psycho-oncologists, marriage and family therapists, trauma and EMDR specialists, oncology massage therapists, practitioners who are comfortable working with clients who are in the dying process (as well as dealing with anger, grief and loss), creative modalities (drumming, art, dance, writing, etc.), pampering, nutrition, fitness, equine therapists and other pet therapies … just about everyone who serves those who are living with cancer.
The process is very simple. Write a blurb about your work, add a jpg and all your contact info and email me at [email protected]
I invite you to participate in the Nancy’s List community.
The list is posted on my website www.NancysList.org
It is comprised of oncology healing practitioners and cancer centers that offer integrative therapies to their patients. Many of these services are available to anyone in the community who is living with cancer, no matter where he or she is treated. Many cancer centers have free programs for patients. Some specialists are able to offer their services to you at a reduced fee. Some are posting at full fee.
Please identify yourself as a member of Nancy’s List when consulting with or scheduling an appointment with the practitioners. This will be helpful in many ways … for us, for them, for you.
I would appreciate your feedback … what worked for you, what didn’t.
