I specialize in coaching cancer survivors, survivors of chronic disease, stem cell transplant recovery and survivorship, cancer care specialists, weight management, and life transition challenges.
I am also a mom of two amazing daughters and I am a cancer survivor.
My involvement and devoted passion in medical education, holistic program development, and coaching clients through difficult challenges has been ongoing for over 20+ years. My work led to the development of WAR (Women At Risk), a cancer awareness initiative at St. Barnabas Medical Center that addressed the needs of women at high risk for developing breast and ovarian cancers as well as coaching patients, clients and families with the many challenges that come along with it.
I coach medical staff working with cancer patients as well as care givers of cancer patients and patients facing challenges of chronic disease. My group coaching assists clients that are living with the challenges relating to hematological and other cancers, weight management, and varied stages of transition living and thriving in their new normal.
My personal journey coupled with my past professional background has propelled my passion for health & wellness coaching. I have learned that although the challenges are very frightening with an uninvited guest as cancer, well-being and health is a challenge that also exists in the absence of illness and in every sense of mind, body & spirit.
Coaching expertise in cancer survivorship, survivors of stem cell transplant & recovery, and survivors of chronic disease, weight management, and life transition challenges. Marigold Health & Wellness Consulting is a firm dedicated to helping people who are living with the challenges of cancer, chronic diseases, and other life transitions. The team at Marigold recognizes that chronic disease can be lonely. Its model is centered on supporting individuals and groups during “moments of crisis” which can range from starting new treatment to feeling overwhelmed by the disease state itself. The Marigold approach is rooted in positive psychology, and is designed to help individuals in real-time, shift their fears, positively live within a variety of new normal’s that we will find ourselves in. We assist with building support networks, filling emotional gaps, and assist with creating new road maps that will provide the life you desire with momentum, motivation, and resilience.
Marigold holds individual and group coaching sessions, and works together with social workers, psychologists, and other medical professionals to develop care plans that make sense for each individual client.
I see clients in Essex County, New Jersey in addition to telephone coaching for clients outside of the New Jersey area.
I can empathize and sympathize with the struggles and challenges you face. I have not only been well educated in the practices of coaching, but I have walked the walk as a stem cell transplant survivor, a caregiver, and a survivor of many life transition challenges.
