Our expert cancer wellness specialists are here to support your overall quality of life by providing services and holistic care to ALL cancer survivors throughout all phases of treatment.
- Participants are encouraged to attend group classes for mind, body and health – such as yoga, meditation and swimming – which help manage stress, emotional well-being and the side effects/symptoms of cancer.
- By forming connections with one another through our discussion and support groups, cancer survivors gain the sense of hope with compassionate like-minded people.
- Special workshops (on topics such as journaling and nutrition), an annual retreat and more are scheduled throughout the year.
Our services are free to all unless otherwise noted and people do not have to be a member of the Sid Jacobson JCC to attend. Registration and a telephone intake are required prior to participation. All programs run for 12 weeks, with an assessment done at the conclusion of the program.
