Cancer patients and survivors can feel better and live longer using powerful strategies. As a brain tumor survivor since 1998, I can help as a Cancer Coach with professional and personal knowledge of conventional and integrative practitioners combined with self-care strategies. Goals are to improve quality of life, cancer survival, and cancer prevention.
My history moved me to this practice. Diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1998, I’ve navigated through three awake brain surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hundreds of treatments spanning a wide range of classifications. In addition, since I have a mutation from family history, I had many large colon polyps removed, two endometrial surgeries, and a hysterectomy. I gained clarity such that my personal survivorship transformed into a professional purpose to help cancer patients. Some include working for the National Cancer Institute, Food and Drug Administration, National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, the U.S. Congress, cancer non-profits, and other places.
I choose to partner one-on-one with you from wherever you are ‘now’ in your cancer journey.
Integrative cancer care
is about
placing the person with cancer
in the center of their community,
the center of the room,
the center of the conversation,
the center of themselves.
Recognizing that each person is not defined
by their diagnosis.
Focusing on personalized, integrative strategies
for each individual.
Helping each person embrace themselves
as intact and complete —
whole today
and for the balance of life.

Everyone benefits from enhanced improvements. Central to my purpose is supporting the ‘whole’ person and not just focusing on cancer cells. Concurrently, I can coach patients to address cancer using many strategies.
Initial contact begins with an email. Feel free to input ‘Cancer Coach’ and your name in the subject line will fast-track our communication. Please let me know the situation, and if necessary, brief questions about my work as a cancer coach.
