I am a graduate of the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Maine. I was selected as an honoree at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in 2014. This annual event is for individuals and organizations that have dedicated themselves to making a difference in the fight against cancer.
I am a professional member of both the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the Society for Oncology Massage (S4OM). I am a licensed massage therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
I have maintained a full-time massage therapy practice since 1998. In 2000, I co-founded The Healing ZONE Therapeutic Massage. I strive to create a “healing zone”—a place where all who enter feel safe and comfortable with anyone of the team of therapists, while receiving the care and treatment they need to feel better. The Healing ZONE offers treatments for oncology patients and their caregivers or anyone seeking the stress relief offered by a quality massage.
