In my native Sweden, I grew up spending a lot of time with my grandmother. I always remember what she used to say, “The person who is in good health has many wishes, the person that is ill has only one.”
Her comment stuck with me throughout my life and this was the beginning of my passion for achieving a high quality of life and wellness. In my youth I suffered from tension in my back, exaggerated spinal curves and scoliosis. Through yoga for the body and mind and a diet of healing foods, I healed my back and relieved the tension. This journey has offered me the compassion to hear and understand the life challenges of others and the tools to help them on their journey to health and wellness.
My mission through Life and Wellness is to be part of a force for good providing tools for self empowerment and long term health.
My Three Pillars of Wellness Program inspire wellness in all areas of life and is founded in Nutrition, Exercise and Mindfulness. When combined and enhanced with the intelligence of nature in the form of Pure Therapeutic Essential Oils, they make your journey the optimal personal experience.
As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), I worked with my yoga students and realized the importance of nutrition and lifestyle. This brought me deeper into the power of food as medicine. To further my knowledge I received my education and certification as a Health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s cutting-edge health coach training program. During my practice, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.
