Miechelle is a massage therapist certified under the California Massage Therapy Council (certification number #72480). She has trained in several modalities including myofascial release, Swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu, and sport massage at the National Holistic Institute in Sacramento.
Since winning the Performance Health and National Holistic Institute Scholarship in 2017, she has become a specialist in Oncology Massage after studying at The Institute of Integrative Oncology under Greet The Day in L.A. Miechelle is a proud member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the Society for Oncology Massage (S4OM).
Miechelle currently works for Dignity Health providing massages for patients in the infusion center of two hospitals in the Sacramento region. She has her own private practice www.NordicHouseSpa.com where the majority of her clients are cancer patients.
