I am a 5 year BRCA 1+ breast cancer survivior, and a certified life coach and holistic cancer coach. I have a dual certification with the ICF (International Coach Federation) and a Holistic Cancer Coach certification.
I have also worked for years supporting the mission of the Omega Institute, partnering with the Omega Women’s Leadership Center to design and implement their programs, and offer coaching to their staff.
For me, I found there was a ton of support while in active treatment, but then I felt lost and struggled getting back on my feet in that first year after treatment ended. My sole focus had been on getting through treatment and surgery. After I reached that milestone and the “survivor confetti” was swept away, friends and family assumed I was all better because I was looking more and more like myself, but they couldn’t relate to how I felt inside.
I want to offer a safety net of encouragement and clarity, and to reinforce the inner resilience of other women, and help them get back into the business of living fully after treatment is over.
I help create a personalized roadmap to support all dimensions of healing. Together we unpack the emotional impacts of cancer, and I support clients with tools like EFT and guided visualization to manage stress and fear of recurrence.
I also offer peer support through the Health Alliance Oncology Support Program, and the Young Survivors Coalition. I offer free and low cost community programs and hikes/walks.
