I have been a licensed esthetician since December of 2009 and became oncology trained in July of 2010.

I own and operate Skin Deep Salon & Spa. We are a full service day spa with a special niche … several of us have special training in caring for those whose lives have been affected by cancer. I handle all the skin issues from head to toe basically (rashes, radiation dermatitis, dry skin, chemo induced acne, etc.).

In 2018, I earned my certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Although many states still do not allow Esthteticians to practice MLD, I did it so I could better understand the lymphatic system. My clients ask all the time about the risks of lymphedema and I felt as though I owed it to them to understand it better myself so I felt confident in answering their question.
