Dr. Martell is board certified in naturopathic oncology through the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO) and is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP). Dr. Martell has a general medical practice providing compassionate heart-centered care to help guide her patients to balance, wholeness and improved quality of life. She uses a combination of gentle acupuncture, healing bodywork, diet and lifestyle changes, stress reduction, and evidence based natural medicines.
After graduating from the National University of Natural Medicine in 1999, Dr. Martell completed a primary care residency, training and working with Dr. Dickson Thom.
She opened a multidisciplinary wellness center in southeast Portland where she was in private practice until accepting a position with Cancer Treatment Centers of America in 2011. She returned to the Pacific Northwest to join the team at Providence Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Martell credits the practice of yoga with her own healing and is a Registered Yoga Teacher.
