My journey began in 1999 when I completed my Masters of Professional Studies in Creative Art Psychotherapy from Pratt Institute in NYC.
I worked with various populations in mental health. In 2005, I decided to focus more on the physical well-being. I entered the world of occupational therapy in 2006.
In 2009, I graduated from New York University with Masters of Science in occupational therapy. I worked in trauma hospitals, nursing rehabilitation homes, and contract therapy.
I was led to the world of Lymphedema in 2013 when I obtained my certification from Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. I obtained additional oncology certifications for breast cancer rehabilitation through Klose Lymphedema School and Head and Neck Cancer Lymphedema certification with Norton. I furthered my training and expertise in head and neck in 2016 where I obtained advanced training in Chicago with Norton School. In 2016, I implemented the head and neck cancer Lymphedema program for my hospital.
I currently serve on the Tumor Board. I am an active participant with Chemotherapy class at George Washington University.
My focus: Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, chronic venous insufficiency associated with Lymphedema, primary Lymphedema, Myofasical release and Head and Neck Lymphedema from cancer.
