Tina Kaczor ND, FABNO, Retreat for Integrative Oncologists in Tuscany

Dr. Kaczor will share her novel approach to patients for the first time, an approach that is a culmination of her patient experience and her knowledge of systems biology.

The retreat is not intended for the general public. Rather, Dr. Kaczor will be discussing advanced concepts that clinicians and practitioners of integrative oncology can use with their patients. This conference is designed to impart a new clinically-useful perspective on patient care in integrative oncology. We will teach practical information that can be applied to your practice.

Dr. Kaczor will be sharing her perspective on leveraging systems biology … weaving scientific knowledge with our current understanding of naturopathic medicine in order to augment safe therapeutic options available to patients. Dr. Kaczor’s “Offense/Defense” strategy has been developed over two decades of patient care and a lifetime of scientific study.

Dr. Kaczor has focused on oncology for over 25 years. She is a writer, editor, teacher, and clinician who has dedicated her career to understanding all aspects of cancer. She has authored over 75 articles for the Natural Medicine Journal on various topics in naturopathic medicine. She was the content editor of The Textbook of Naturopathic Medicine (2020).

Since 2021, Dr. Kaczor has been educating the public through her podcast with Dr. Leah Sherman, The Cancer Pod. The podcast is meant for the general public and offers a rich resource of self-help information during and after cancer treatment. There are approximately 107 episodes as well as a webpage which has more information than just the podcast.

With two decades of experience in cancer care, Dr. Kaczor now acts as a consultant for patients looking to safely combine integrative medicine/natural medicine and conventional treatment. While she no longer does any procedures or treatments directly, she is well acquainted with both the conventional and complementary aspects of cancer treatments and tailors her recommendations based on the details of each individual scenario. There are no protocols.

Dr. Kaczor offers remote consultations that cut through the enormous amount of information (and misinformation) that often feels overwhelming when trying to self-navigate the landscape of cancer care. Using evidence-based integrative strategies infused with the practical insight into what works and doesn’t, Dr. Kaczor understands that her value is in saving people time and frustration, and instilling confidence that one is doing everything that is feasible at the moment. The goal is to create the best possible outcome, both today and in the future for each person.

Round Table Cancer Care is a person-centered approach to help individuals affected by cancer navigate all of the choices at hand, from alternative to conventional treatments and the integrative oncology in between. Consultations are appropriate for everyone from those at high risk of a cancer diagnosis to those already affected, or those trying to lessen risk of recurrence.
Recommendations, whether natural or prescriptive, are not bound by any dogma, philosophy, or school of thought.

Dr. Kaczor is also intimately involved in the profession of naturopathic oncology.
She writes, lectures, and lives naturopathic medicine.
She is Editor-in-Chief of NaturalMedicineJournal.com, which offers open access to clinicians.
She recently completed a project as Co-Editor of the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology: A Desktop Guide of Integrative Cancer Care.
