The mission of Camp Challenge is to enrich the lives of hematology/oncology patients including, but not limited to, cancer and sickle cell disorders, their siblings, and survivors by creating a week-long camping experience at no cost. Our purpose is to provide a recreational environment that is memorable, fun, empowering, safe, and medically sound to help them cope with the challenges of childhood diseases and prepare them for life after illness.
Camp Challenge is a week-long sleep-away camp in Leesville. Camp accommodates all of our campers’ needs, including a full medical staff.
Campers and Staff will not be required to have the COVID Vaccine.
Vaccines are encouraged, but not required.
COVID testing will not be required unless campers or staff appear to have symptoms. Applications are now online. We would appreciate you letting us know if you are planning to send your children to camp as soon as possible. The deadlines will be enforced, but we also need to plan for buses, etc. and will be have to put up deposits on some things. If we could get an idea of what your plans are, it would be very helpful. Please respond to this email or send a message.
