Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times® offers a cost-free, medically-supervised residential camp experience to any child who has or has had cancer, on or off treatment, from infancy through high school graduation. Siblings of the patient and the parents of young cancer patients can also attend.
Family Camp
A Family Camp weekend is an opportunity for you to come together as a family to relax, play, and connect in a caring environment. It is a chance to form new bonds, receive support, and build friendships with other families who understand what it means to maintain relationships and raise children during treatments and procedures for cancer. Camp is designed to be fun and supportive for all members of the family, giving everyone a chance to laugh, learn, and love together.
Family Camp is a 2 night – 2 day experience. Family Camps are offered in the spring and fall and are designed to support the whole family. Family Camp is open to all families who have a child with cancer, ages infant – 8 years old.
Summer Sleep-Away Camp
Summer Camp is open to all patients and siblings who are at least 9 years old. Campers are allowed to attend Summer Camp until they graduate high school. Summer Camp is a 6 day – 5 night experience that creates lifelong memories and friendships. We offer activities of a “normal” camp, adapted to meet the special needs of our campers. This is for patients and siblings ages 9 until high school graduation.
Winter Camp
Winter Camp is a 4 day – 3 night experience that promotes self-esteem, friendships, and fun for children who currently have or have had cancer and their siblings, ages 15 through high school graduation.
