Camp Sunrise and Sidekicks is located at our camp property at R-C Scout Ranch outside Payson, Arizona. Camper transportation is provided from Phoenix and Tucson.
Our amazing campers come from all over the Southwest United States and have one thing in common: their lives have been directly impacted by cancer. Arizona Camp Sunrise exists because of the strength and hope inherent in each and every one of our campers.
Arizona Camp Sunrise
Arizona Camp Sunrise programs are for children and teenagers who have or have had cancer, ages 8 – 18. Camp gives children the chance to meet others who share similar experiences and build friendships that lend encouragement and strength throughout the year. Our camp is medically supervised and promotes a normal camp environment for those with special medical needs.
Arizona Camp Sidekicks
Arizona Camp Sidekicks programs are for siblings of cancer fighters, ages 8-18. Campers attend Camp Sidekicks independent of their sibling with cancer. This allows siblings the opportunity to connect with others who understand the unique challenges of having a sibling with cancer, as well as make their own camp memories.
Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks Summer Fun Day Camps are for children who have or had cancer and their siblings, ages 3-7. Campers experience a variety of activities over two weeks, including games, arts and crafts, field trips, and swimming. Day Camp is held in Phoenix.
