Ed Bauman M.D., Cancer Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, Founder and Director of the Bauman Integrative Wellness and Bauman College: Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts, Author

As an Integrative Health Consultant and medical provider with expertise in holistic health and nutrition, I have worked with cancer patients and their families for 40 years.

I am the co-author of the Whole Foods Guide for Breast Cancer Survivors. I can help a person going through chemotherapy, radiation or immunotherapy maintain their weight, strength, mood and minimize side effects.

I run a holistic health and wellness consulting business, helping individuals to achieve optimal wellness and working with corporate teams to perform at their best. I build my plans based upon the client’s needs, likes, and ability to digest and metabolize food. I nourish the person rather than treat the disease at whatever stage their cancer and treatment are. I will carefully suggest herbs, spices, nutrients and beverages to complement conventional treatment or help them heal after an aggressive medical course. I can supervise a cleansing or building a program locally or where the person and their loved ones live.

Bauman Integrative Wellness
Integrating daily wellness practices with creative expression and diverse community collaboration to nourish positive transformation

Our roots connect us with the earth, with our creator and with people and communities who have lived in harmony for thousands of years. To nourish communities of wellness we are articulating our values and visions of how this current world can be transformed into one of peace, harmony, and well-being. We are evolving individually and collectively. We serve with humility and authenticity. We honor our ancestors, teachers, and parents, and aim to create a world wherein our children and their children will be well. Please click on the links below to reflect on our guiding principles. If they resonate with you, please join our community and be a co-creator of wellness.

Five Integrated Wellness Practices

Theory of Change

Our Principles

  1. Wellness is a positive state of being.

  2. Wellness and Illness are the outer poles of a quality-of-life continuum.

  3. Wellness is characterized by vitality, joy, and resilience.

  4. Wellness reflects individual, family, community, workplace, media, and environmental interactions.

  5. Wellness is sustained and strengthened by nourishing individual, family, and community life.

  6. Art is vital to our well being as it opens us to see and feel the world around us in a fresh way.

  7. Illness indicates a lack of resources needed to resolve insults, injuries, and threats to well-being.

  8. Acts that harm the biosphere harm all organisms.

  9. Social injustice and lack of diversity, equity, inclusion, perpetuate societal unwellness.

  10. Networking within community circles is a key to well-being. The greater the quality and diversity of one’s connections, the greater the vitality, intelligence, and resilience.
