Prior to that I worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the leading cancer center in the nation. Here I developed Acute Cancer Cognitive Therapy as a way for patients and their families to cope with the emotions of cancer, stay strong and move forward. Additionally, I am an expert in psycho-pharmacology and a researcher in the field of doctor-patient communication.
I am a national/international speaker on Collaborative Care Psychiatry. I also act as a consultant to healthcare organizations such as AbleTo and do forensic examinations.
