Susan Gee, LMT, NCBTMB, Progressive Massage Therapy for Caregivers

Have you ever wished to expand how you can provide care for your patient?

My digital courses allow caregivers, massage therapists, and other professionals to elevate their skills using a holistic approach to reduce stress, pain, and anxiety for those in their care. Touch is a basic human need and should be available to everyone, especially the sick and dying.

Learn simple, safe, gentle-touch massage in the comfort of your home or care facility. Add sincere satisfaction, gratitude and compassion for your patient, knowing the profound difference you just made in a 20-minute session of gentle-touch massage.

 Learn how to:

  • Overcome the fear of touching those who are ill
  • Be the ‘Calm One in the Room’ … even in the midst of chaos
  • Understand the profound effect of simply “being” with someone
  • Basic massage strokes and protocols for the hands and feet
  • How to provide a SAFE, gentle-touch massage using the Shorter, Softer, Slower framework
  • Power these techniques with love and compassion and you have a holistic approach to non-medical comfort care.

Two, 3-hour courses available:

  • A Guide for Caregivers: How to Provide Gentle-Touch Massage for Your Loved-One
  • A Guide for Massage Therapists: How to Provide Gentle-Touch Massage in Home or Care Facility

About Susan
Susan Gee is owner, therapist and course creator at Progressive Massage Therapy, LLC. Her philosophy on massage:

Massage does not have to hurt to be effective!

Susan is a transplant from Dallas to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and loves her work.

It is extremely rewarding to see with your eyes and feel with your hands someone rest and relax who was hurting.
Cancer and other chronic illness can wear you down physically and emotionally.
Massage can make a big difference allowing you to rest and heal.
The key is finding a therapist who has special training and can make the necessary adjustments.

Susan received her massage therapy license in 2007. Massage therapy has allowed her to slow the pace of life while making a difference in the lives of others.

While in massage school, her sister Joyce was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. She massaged Joyce’s hands and feet as she received chemo infusion. She believes this was the motivation behind her work with cancer patients and those with other advanced illnesses.

After much thought, consideration, and finally giving in to the encouragement of others, she developed on-line digital courses teaching others how to provide gentle-touch massage for those who are ill and at the end-of-life.
