Dr. Devlin practices Integrative Oncology and is one the founders of the International Organization of Integrative Cancer Physicians (IOICP), a non-profit cancer research and educational foundation. He currently sits on IOICP advisory board.
Dr. Devlin has been honored to lecture nationally and internationally on a variety of medical topics and is regularly sought to provide his expertise through direct consultation and lectures from a variety of medical organizations. Dr. Devlin has traveled extensively, working with cancer physicians and researchers nationally and internationally in an effort to better understand cancer and its treatment.
Dr. Devlin currently practices in Northern California and Northern Nevada providing Integrative Oncology consultation and care.
Dr. Devlin is a board-certified Family Physician and board-eligible in Emergency Medicine. He also is board-certified and fellowship-trained in Anti-Aging and Regenerative medicine and fellowship-trained in Integrative Cancer Therapeutics. Dr. Devlin holds a Masters degree in Biochemistry and has pursued doctoral studies in Pharmacology with an emphasis on the evaluation of novel anti-neoplastic agents (anti-cancer drugs).
During his tenure as a PhD student, he uncovered a variety of novel research on the endo-cannabinoid system and its relationship with the parasympathetic nervous system. After reviewing the literature to date, he was invited to lecture to the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Tennessee to report his findings. Dr. Devlin has spent the past 20 years exploring the clinical implications of his findings that suggested marijuana held significant medical benefits for a wide variety of clinical conditions, including cancer.
Dr. Devlin graduated in 1991 with a Master’s Degree in biochemistry from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He was a PhD candidate in pharmacology at the University of Tennessee from 1993-1994. Following a fellowship in anatomy and neuromuscular medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM), he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from UNECOM in 1999. Dr. Devlin did his internship and residency at the University of Nevada from 1999-2002. Board and fellowship training was completed at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Regenerative Medicine as well as fellowship training in Integrative Cancer Therapeutics at the ABAARM. He has more than 15 years of emergency medicine, clinic and hospitalist experience and has been an attending physician at the Burning Man music/art festival in Northern Nevada for more than 10 years.
