I am a registered Holy Fire Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher, International Center for Reiki Training Certified Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher and Level III Reiki Crystal Healing Practitioner. I utilize a wide variety of tools to facilitate wellness and restore wholeness.
Reiki is energy healing performed with the client fully-clothed laying on a massage table. The client may choose light touch or no touch at all. A practitioner may scan the body with their hand to determine imbalances present before beginning the session or they may elect to do a full treatment of hand positions that cover key areas where stress typically accumulates in the body.
Reiki works on the subtle energy fields surrounding the client. These are the invisible, fine fields that include the emotional, mental and spiritual energies surrounding our physical body.
Reiki invokes the parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS) which is one of two divisions of the autonomic nervous system responsible for regulating the body’s unconscious actions. It is the “rest-and-digest” or “feed-and-breed” side. The other side, the sympathetic nervous system is the side responsible for “fight, flight or freeze” responses.
I have been honored to offer Reiki services, crystal healing, spiritual guidance and monthly Reiki shares for years. I have been teaching Reiki certification classes since 2015 in the Phoenix area and, occasionally, out-of-state locations. I currently reside in Woodstock, Georgia.
