I have been a licensed acupuncturist since 2003 when I opened the Natural Health Center of Austin.
My goal is to help you get to the root of what is going on with your health so that you can get and stay healthy and enjoy your life. People want more from their healthcare provider than pills and quick-fix band-aids that don’t really fix the problem.
I taught myself yoga from a book 30 years ago. The author said that to understand yoga, the yoking of the mind and body, do the poses 30 days in a row, and hold each pose for an “honest 10 counts.” After the 30 days, I knew I had stumbled across a beautiful secret — the power of healing, calming, and strengthening your body through breath, Prana, or Qi.
Since having a life-changing experience with Chinese medicine in the late 90s, I have been studying nutrition, acupuncture, and herbology. I specialize in immune conditions including allergies, hormone imbalance, gastrointestinal disease, and auto-immune conditions. I love to help people get healthy without using potentially dangerous medications that always have side effects.
As someone who is very sensitive to acupuncture needles myself, I have a gentle approach to needling to make it a relaxing and healing experience.
When you are experiencing a health issue, it can be stressful. We help you to start feeling better as soon as possible through our relaxing and expert treatments. There are always ups and downs as you are healing. We track your progress at each visit so we can see how things are improving.
… Because, after all, if you’re healthy, you’re happy.
And isn’t being happy what life is all about?
Internships and intensive study programs with master practitioners in the field have furthered my experience and skills … Richard Tan (balance method acupuncture), Dr. Devi Nambudripad (NAET), Dr. Jimmy Chang (pulse diagnosis), and Standard Process’ group of doctor teachers (applied clinical nutrition).
I’ve been seeing Dr. Nicole for over a year and she and her practice have done miracles for my health and well-being! Migraines and pain all gone! She has a completely new approach to wellness and healthcare, and it comes with real results. If you are looking for a safe, holistic approach, look no further than Natural Health Center.
