My practice is primarily focused on Reiki and Sound Healing, often times integrating both modalities.
I hold a Masters Certification in Himalayan Singing Bowls, and I am a Crystal Singing Bowls Practitioner.
I am a Reiki Master Teacher of 3 traditions, a Magnified Healing Practitioner, A Reconnective Healing Practitioner, Certified Medical Intuitive, and Spiritual Counselor.
I am a retired opera singer, having had a successful 30-year international career.
Following the unexpected death of my husband, I embarked on a healing journey which eventually led me to the bowls. I then embarked on a ministry of healing, traveling with my bowls throughout 4 states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Vermont.
As an employee of the Integrative Medicine Department of Hartford Hospital, I have been performing sound healing meditations for cancer patients, their family members, and care-givers since 2012.
In 2014, I was diagnosed with throat cancer. Two of the three massive tumors each held close to 60 cancerous legions – in total, close to 120 cancer legions. When the surgeon removed the tumors, he was shocked to discover that all the cancer legions were either dead or dormant. Convinced I had to have cancer somewhere in my body, he removed 3 lymph nodes. The lab results were negative: No cancer.
I had tremendous care at Smilow Cancer Center, but I strongly believe that all the Reiki I received and the two years of playing bowls 2 to 5 times a week played a significant part in neutralizing the cancer. I believe the bowls saved my life.
There is no shortage of documentation regarding the effects of sound vibration on cancer cells. When integrated with Western medicine, these modalities have profound healing effects, improving quality of life, peace of mind and spirit, as well as strength throughout the healing process.
The focus of my practice is healing, especially for those living with cancer. Reiki and other healing modalities other than the bowls can be done distantly or virtually. Singing Bowls, along with the Crystal Healing Bed, are strictly in-person.
To help with the mental and emotional stresses of illnesses as well as those of the physical body, I strongly encourage sound healing in combination with Reiki, integrated as part of the healing journey towards balance, peace and restored quality of life.
