Leslie R. Schover Ph.D., Expert Telehealth Psychologist Specializing in Sexual Health, Fertility, and Cancer Counseling

At least 60% of people treated for cancer end up with long-term sexual problems. About half of younger cancer survivors cope with damaged fertility. Only a few clinics or hospitals have a mental health professional expert in these issues. Finding an expert is even harder if you live outside of a major city.

If you, a loved one, or one of your patients struggle with reproductive health, I may be able to help.

I am a clinical psychologist specializing in treating sexual and relationship problems related to chronic illness and helping people cope with infertility. I was a staff psychologist at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for 13 years and served on the faculty at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center for 21 years. I retired early to start a digital health company, Will2Love, which provided online help for cancer-related problems with sexuality and fertility.

In 2016, I received the Jimmy Holland Leadership Award of the American Psychosocial Oncology Society. In 2019, Will2Love won an Innovations Prize in the Astellas C3 Competition to Improve Cancer Care. I am an Advanced Telebehavioral Health Institute Certified Telebehavioral Health Practitioner.

Will2Love.com has closed because of lack of funds. However, I have opened a telehealth private practice to help individuals and couples restore their sex lives, cope with challenges to fertility, and improve quality of life.

I am licensed as a psychologist in Texas. I have the new ePassport credential which allows me to practice using secure videoconferencing in the 21 states that have joined PSYPACT. States included in PSYPACT practice: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia. Ten more states have legislation in progress. PATIENT MUST BE LOCATED IN ONE OF THE PSYPACT STATES DURING A SESSION.

I am not accepting insurance, but the trade-off is receiving treatment by a senior clinician with an international reputation and decades of experience. I also use a cognitive-behavioral approach and try to resolve issues as efficiently as possible. I give “homework” exercises and am always willing to work with the medical professionals taking care of you. An initial evaluation session is $250 and follow-up sessions are $200, payable by credit card on a secure practice web site.
