Cindy Finch LCSW, Bereavement and Grief Counselor, Author, Clinical Therapist, Counseling

I am a clinical therapist, cancer survivor, author and leader specializing in growth after grief and loss. My team and I will walk you through the deep healing process needed to recover from and grow after your illness or after you lose a loved one.

Hope & Healing from Loss
An intensive five-day retreat designed to help individuals who have experienced deep loss.
The work is based on the framework of my book When Grief is Good.
The retreats have experiential, individual, and group work and are becoming catalysts for people to find their next steps in the wake of their losses. Essentially, they are a cocoon to heal and grow and develop post-traumatic growth.

Grief is many things. It’s losing a job or divorcing a partner. It’s a traumatic or terminal illness, the death of a loved one, or an addiction that threatens the life we love.

But grief is also canceled plans, missed opportunities, and lives forever changed. In all its forms, grief is the signal we experience when life doesn’t go as planned.

But in the depth of loss, hope rises to the surface. We have a chance to grow after trauma—an opportunity waiting for us if we choose to take it. In When Grief Is Good, I show you how to rediscover meaning, purpose, and happiness when your life is no longer the same.

After enduring my own unimaginable loss, I realized I never would have chosen my life’s circumstances, but I wouldn’t change them, either. From my pain came growth, clarity, and direction. Now I am helping others move on from their trials and tribulations and choose to grow through them. Filled with inspirational stories that will provide you with a new perspective of pain, this book reveals the lessons in loss and the transformative power of grief.
