I am a Grief Doula, an Herbalist, a certified Compassionate Bereavement Care Counselor, and a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. I listen, deeply.
I invite you to join an online Grief Garden specifically for the Nancy’s List community. It is a Support Group for YOU, your family members, and the very dear friends … honoring someone you all love who is living with cancer.
A Grief Garden is a supportive and reflective space to share grief, to hold, and be held. Some topics may include:1) Fallowing: Guided Writing Prompts to Unearth the Landscape of Grief and its Climate Changes;
2) Sowing Seed: Intentional and Mindful Focus;
3) Tending: Embodied Movement Through What’s Stuck;
4) Harvesting Solace: Listening to Nature’s Signs & Wonders; Nourishing Rituals & Practices
A Grief Garden Format: Four weekly sessions of 75 minutes each on Google Meet. As part of this work, together we will actually be planting and tending to a garden! You can begin by imagining and sourcing a house plant you want to tend or an herb you want to grow in your garden.
Get in touch with your Nancy’s List friends/neighbors. When 4 – 6+ people email me to register, we will book the first of four weekly sessions in May’s Grief Garden.
Sessions will meet at noon PST on a day that works for the majority of people in our group.
Cost: Click this link to make a sustainable sliding-scale donation ($33-$55 per session). No one will EVER be turned away for lack of funds.
Power is not brute force and money.
Power is in your spirit.
Power is in your soul.
It is what your ancestors, your old people, gave you.
Power is in the earth.
It is in your relationship to the earth.
