Maryann Herklotz began her career as a physical therapist in 2000. By 2001, she had decided to focus in oncology and began working at Memorial Sloan Kettering, a cancer center in NYC, where she practiced for over 20 years. In late 2021, she transitioned from the hospital setting into independent practice where she now provides holistic and integrative physical therapy.
Her work is based on providing gentle manual therapeutic approaches, including craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and other osteopathic treatments. The focus is on supporting the healing process of her patients in the most whole experience possible … body, mind, and spirit. The goal is to invite a sense of overall balance and wellness, while promoting healing and preventing other health concerns.
She is continuously training in this work to take her practice to a deeper level. She is currently taking a certification program in biodynamic craniosacral therapy. Her clients find the therapy she provides to be highly effective, supportive, and nourishing.
She sees clients of all ages, currently offering sessions in-person mainly in NYC. She is also in the Hamptons on select days each month.
Her sessions may be offered virtually if you wish.
