Candlelighters Child Cancer Foundation of Southern Arizona

Candlelighters is a Tucson-based non-profit organization serving families in Southern Arizona who have a child/teen diagnosed with cancer or other blood disorder. This includes leukemia, brain tumors, solid tumors, sickle cell anemia, other anemia’s and other blood disorders. Programs include summer camp, holiday parties, information resources and other support services. Families can self-refer or be referred by their social worker.

Candlelighters supports, serves, and advocates for children and adolescents with cancer and other blood disorders, their families, long-term survivors, bereaved families, and the professionals that care for them.

The overnight camp is available to families who have had a child/teen in treatment for cancer or other hematological diagnosis. Camp begins Friday at dinner time and ends Sunday after lunch. Camp includes meals and accommodation and is free to families. Activities at camp includes basketball, volleyball, children’s playground, archery, campfire circle and crafts.
