Jason Bussell PhD, MBA, MPH, L.Ac earned his Master’s of Oriental Medicine in the states and his PhD in Acupuncture from the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in China. Jason has served as the President of the Illinois Society of Acupuncturists, Vice-Chairman of the Illinois Department of Regulation’s Acupuncture Board, and as an Executive Board of Directors for the American Society of Acupuncturists. He also earned a Masters in Public Health and another Masters in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Bussell has been the only acupuncturist to be awarded a post-doctoral fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Bendheim Center for Integrative Medicine. Jason has over 20 years experience in treating cancer and can help moderate all the side effects of traditional cancer therapies.
He has taught at Northwestern University and DePaul University’s College of Science and health; and he has published articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and lay publications. His book, The Asian Diet, has been sold around the world.
Dr. Bussell lost his mother to breast cancer when he was 9 years old. He has made it his life’s mission to help people go through cancer treatment and not suffer the side-effects that his mother endured.
