Gladys has nearly 40 years experience as a physical therapist and a passion working with those dealing with and recovering from cancer treatment. She believes in mind-body exercise as a tool to assist with conventional medical treatment.
Gladys received her physical therapy degree in 1981 from the University of Puerto Rico and set out to further specialize in orthopedics and manual therapy while traveling the world as a military wife. She has over 20 years experience as a lead therapist and PT supervisor in various rehab clinics and medical centers throughout the country and world.

Gladys has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1982 and is an active member in their oncology and orthopedic sections.

Gladys took her first Pilates at Pilates Center of Austin while she was opening a new Rehab Facility for Seton at Seton Southwest. She completed her Pilates Certification Program in 2001 and incorporates the principles in her patient care.
