Tammy is a licensed physical therapist assistant who has dedicated her career to helping patients achieve their goals. She has a biology degree from Texas Woman’s University and certification as a Lymphedema Therapist from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.
Since 1996, she has worked as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, continuously pursuing advanced studies in Orthopedics, Oncology Rehab, Lymphedema, and Wound Care. She has gained valuable experience in these areas through working in specialized orthopedic and lymphedema clinics, local hospitals, and support groups. Her passion for her work is evident in her patient-centered approach to care, always advocating for the needs and goals of her patients.
In addition to her traditional physical therapy techniques, Tammy also understands the benefits of mind-body practices. She may integrate them into her treatments when indicated, such as yoga, as she is also a certified yoga instructor. She believes in evidence-based holistic practices and recognizes the positive impact these practices can have on her patients. She will continue to help others use their own abilities to heal and lead a balanced and joyful life.
