Hi, my name is Holly Taylor and I am an RN and a Board Certified Holistic Nurse who is trained in Craniosacral Therapy, SEVA acupressure release, Reiki and other light touch modalities.
They say, “The issues are in the tissues.” Specifically, we hold a lot of our physical and emotional trauma in our fascia which is the shock absorber of our bodies. Craniosacral is a light touch modality that gives a deep tissue or fascia release which at the end can often feel like a massage treatment. Craniosacral therapy can be used to address physical ailments such as back pain, migraines, TMJ, neuropathy. It is also a wonderful tool to address emotional pain such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
As a holistic nurse, I was taught that we are to be “option givers” to our patients and clients. I was also taught that when given the right tools and attention, even our own presence could be healing. I like to look at CranioSacral therapy as one of those options to assist people along their journey. It is an honor and a privilege to hold space for anyone who seeks a complementary modality to their cancer treatment process.
I am regularly asked, “Why did you choose this path and this modality?” The answer is simple and easy. CranioSacral Therapy has many ways and continues to help me.
What is CranioSacral Therapy? CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction (Upledger Institute International, 2017).
I utilize personal lessons learned in addition to my medical background to assist others in charting their own individual healing path. I do this through a sensitive and integrative process of helping people connect mind, body, emotion, and spirit. At minimum, I want to create a safe place for people to land in the chaos of life and to help my clients to re-ground themselves in order to face the day-to-day challenges of life. In addition, I want to be a resource and a teacher to empower my clients with practical tools they can use in their everyday lives and even offer a different perspective by tapping into their own “inner physician,” also known as our intuition.

I mainly work with adults. However, I can work with children and teenagers depending on the need. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
During a session, we will spend time discussing your goals and what you are hoping to achieve. The focus of your session will be based on that conversation to meet your individual circumstances. Every client comes in with different needs.
Working as a registered nurse over the past 15 years and as a board certified holistic nurse over the past 5 years, I have served various people in the many stages of their health care, including those diagnosed with cancer.
I don’t think there is any substitute for experience and I believe my experience in the field is what has given me a balanced perspective.
In addition to being self-employed and working for a home health and hospice company, I am currently serving as a volunteer and practitioner for the Survivor Wellness program in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love the work I do there.
