I am an oncology nurse of 14 years. I have walked beside folks through the hard placed, dark times, and massive life shifts. Because of the many stories I heard regarding struggles with body image, an evolving sexual body, a relationship in turmoil, etc., I completed training as a Sexuality Counselor and Sex Educator and obtained AASECT certification.
I am an Oncology Sexual Wellness Specialist and focus on the RECLAMATION! of the cancer patient and couple. Their needs are unique!
I am in the early process of creating a non-profit organization to support these folks. I have found that approximately 48% of the referred clients are not able to afford a private sexual health provider and I have never been good at saying no to folks in need.
