Noogieland is the playful name for our youth program at Cancer Support Community North Texas. The name is just silly enough to make perfect sense to children. Noogieland is where children and teens who have a loved one with cancer, have cancer themselves, or have experienced a loss due to cancer can gather for support.
Camp Noogie is a summer day camp for children whose lives have been touched by cancer. It is a social time for kids to come to meet new friends, learn new things, and have some fun! Each day, kids will enjoy lots of different activities including art projects, cooking classes, music lessons, sports instruction and more.
Affectionately called “Noogies,” children at the camp experience a structured environment tailored to ensure they engage in fun activities and, most importantly, make connections with others going through similar cancer situations at home.
Camp Noogie is part of Cancer Support Community North Texas’ larger program helping kids and teens impacted by cancer, called Noogieland – a free program for any child that is 4-12 years old. The name is just silly enough to make perfect sense to children.
Join Cancer Support Community North Texas as each of our three locations in Plano, Dallas, & North Fort Worth. Camp is intended for kids ages 5-12 and space will be limited so please express your interest and start the sign-up process to reserve your spot today!
