As a Registered Nurse and a Fellow with the National Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists, I especially enjoy working with cancer patients. I was on the Oncology unit when I first went into nursing. And my maternal side of the family has a pretty significant history of cancer.
The mind/body connection is very real. I use Medical Hypnosis in working with cancer patients for pre-op fears and faster recovery, going through chemo treatments and its side effects. I help my clients deal with pain, nausea, numerous medical procedures, energy levels, sleeping issues, self-acceptance, and more.
I also work with caregivers. The diagnosis of cancer affects the whole family system.
I frequently refer patients to Hypnotherapists
because I have seen it produce excellent results in many illnesses.

The body has ways of communicating.
Certain systems communicate with each other in the body.
They do this using certain chemical,
or what we call mediators.
For example, the immune system.
You can use the visualization or imagery
to step up the body’s production of those signals
to soup up the immune system
to go and do what it needs to do.
