I am an Integrative Care RN. I offer Therapeutic Touch Therapy (TT), a holistic evidence-based energy therapy that incorporates the intentional and compassionate use of universal energy to promote balance and wellbeing. The process was developed by a Professor of Nursing at NYU and a “natural healer” over 50 years ago. I began studies with the co-developers in 1986 while attending NYU for my Masters in Counseling. I am credentialed as a Qualified Teacher, Mentor, and Practitioner (QTTT).
I received my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at New York University in New York City and my Nursing Education at Akron General Medical Center and the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio. Nurse Healers-Professional Associates International (NH-PAI) recognizes me as a Qualified Therapeutic Touch Teacher and Practitioner. I am included in Who’s Who in Nursing, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who’s Who in the World.
As a Licensed RN and Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Therapeutic Touch Therapist, and Teacher, I have been working with cancer patients and their families for many years. I have also been a hospice RN offering Therapeutic Touch Therapy.
My practice of Counseling and Therapeutic Touch is both virtual and in-person.
