SC Signature Sessions
The Stupid Cancer Signature Sessions track is like the core curriculum for AYA Cancer: each presentation is a high level overview of the most important topics affecting adolescents and young adults after cancer. Consider these “crash course” sessions an introduction to key information and resources to support different areas of your life.

Breakouts in this track are open to all attendees and appropriate for people at all stages of their patient, survivor, caregiver experience.

The Power of Advocacy
As members of an underserved patient population, AYAs must advocate for themselves each day. The story of the AYA Cancer movement is one of advocacy: the resources and support that are available for today’s AYAs didn’t exist twenty years ago … but there is still a long way to go to achieve quality healthcare for all. This track will explore the many forms of advocacy and give you tools to be your own best advocate in the doctor’s office, in your local community, and on a national level.

Breakouts in this track are intended primarily for our survivor, patient, and caregiver audiences.

Thriving in Survivorship
At Stupid Cancer, we believe “survivorship” starts at diagnosis — and we know it is a long and complicated road. Whether you are still in treatment or ten years NED, there are many emotional, physical, and logistical considerations to cancer survivorship that you might not have expected. This interactive track will dig into these important topics and allow survivors to connect and learn from each other as you navigate your individual survivorship experiences.

Community Dialogues
Connecting with other AYAs who have a similar background can be a profound experience. These intimate discussion sessions, each facilitated by a mental health professional, are an opportunity to speak openly with people who truly get it.

To ensure safe spaces, each session in this track is limited to members of the intended target population.

AYA Cancer Professionals
When cancer is your job, it can feel impossible to take a break. There is so much work to be done, and it is all so important! This track is an opportunity for those who work in the field of AYA Cancer to come together to learn, connect, and support each other.

Breakouts in this track are intended for oncology healthcare providers, researchers, advocates, or non-profit professionals.
